Privacy notice
This page explains which data we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
The data controller is:
Sip Tuscany
If you place an order: name, email address, phone number and — for shipments — the delivery address. We need these to accept your order, prepare it, ship it and get back to you if something goes wrong.
If you pay by card: your card details never pass through our systems and we do not store them. The payment happens on Stripe's own pages; Stripe only tells us the outcome and the billing details we need.
If you leave us your email: we use it to send you the order confirmation and, if you asked for it, the list of the wines you liked during the tasting.
When you visit the site: we collect aggregated technical data (device type, browser, language, country) to understand how many people use the table menu. Your IP address is not kept in readable form: we turn it into a code that cannot be traced back to you.
We only use cookies and local storage that make the site work: the language you picked, the recognition of the tasting journey opened with the table QR code, your session if you sign in, and your cart (or wish list), which stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
Only with those we need in order to get your order to you, and only for that: Stripe for payments, the courier for delivery, our email provider for confirmation messages, our invoicing provider for tax documents, and the technical providers that host the site and the database.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on to third parties for advertising purposes.
Order data and tax documents for as long as the law requires. Technical browsing data for a limited period, in aggregated form. If you gave us your email to receive messages, we keep it until you ask us to delete it.
At any time you can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit its use, give you a copy of it, or object to its processing. You can also withdraw a consent you gave us, without affecting what was done before.
