Chianti Classico · Toscana
Wines and oil from the hills of a hamlet where wine is legend.

The place
Among the hills of Barberino Tavarnelle, 300–400 metres above sea level, Cortine lives on vines, olive trees and cypresses. A Tuscan landscape shaped by time, where every row faces the sun and breathes the Chianti wind.

History & tradition
Here, long before us, a priest — Don Agostino Giotti — made a legendary wine from centuries-old vines, using the training methods of Tuscan tradition: roots reaching back to the Etruscans. Since 2019, Cortine is the line that guards that excellence.

Vineyards & grapes
Our vines root into the calcareous alberese soils, trained to spurred cordon. Sangiovese is the heart, joined by the grapes of tradition:
And from our olive groves comes an extra virgin olive oil with a bold character.

The people
Every bottle carries the imprint of those who make it: hands, care, knowledge of every gesture. Because wine, above all, is the work of people — and it is meant to be shared.
The tasting
The best way to know us is with a glass in hand: our Chianti Classico wines and extra virgin olive oil, to discover at the table, amid the true flavours of Tuscany.
