Made from Canaiolo and Sangiovese grapes, in varying proportions depending on the vintage and the quality level of the grapes, it is a wine that was created in an attempt to meet the demands of a market that has brought rosé wines back into vogue, rightly rediscovered and elevated to products of excellence.

Fresh, savoury and pleasant, perfect as an aperitif.
Soil
Municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle. Altitude: between 308 and 350 m a.s.l.
Harvest
Late August - early September, hand-picked.
Winemaking
Short macerations at controlled temperature. The subsequent low-temperature fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Aging
In smaller 20 hl stainless steel wine vessels for 4 months; after bottling, 1 month in bottle.

Tasting notes
Cerasuolo pink in colour; the nose offers delicate floral notes and hints of small red fruits. On the palate it is fresh and savoury, with good structure and present acidity; notes of strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate, with subtle floral hints reminiscent of dog rose. Light and pleasant on the finish.
Pairings
Great as an aperitif, with cheeses, cured meats and raw meats; it pairs with tomato-based fish first and main courses and with white meats, including grilled.
